Sutra Studies

Description:

Discover your own Self through the study of yoga sutras, Jnana yoga. This course will demystify the wisdom found in yogic teachings. No yoga background is needed.

Each session is a 2- 5 week series delving into Sutras focused on various themes. Each evening will have a different theme. The themes stand alone but also build upon themselves. Through the series you will have the opportunity for self inquiry, contemplation and meditation. Studying sutras help you understand the experiences you have in meditation and and expound upon our human capacity.

You do not need to attend all classes in a series.

Series 1: March 11 and 18 Wednesdays from 7-9 pm

Series 2: August 19, 26, September 2, 9, 16 Wednesdays from 7 pm - 9 pm

Meditation

Description:

Whatever you think meditation can do for you, it will give you so much more! I offer single meditations, 3 week series and a 5 week Deepen your Meditation Series (must take the 3 week series to attend the 5 week series)

Dates:

These single meditations will introduce you to this style of meditation.

Single Meditation evenings:

June 2 and June 9, Tuesday 6:30-7:30

This 3-week series makes meditation easy and accessible. It is perfect for beginners and experienced meditators.

Three week series:

Sunday evenings July 5, 12, 19 from 7 pm - 9 pm;

Wednesday evenings October 14, 21, 28 7-9 pm

In this 5 -week series, you will have additional support and deepen with your meditation experience. You must attend the 3 week series to take this series.

Five week series:

Sunday evenings March 22, 29, April 6(not this is a Monday due to Easter Weekend), April 12 and 19 7-9 pm

Another Five week Deepen Your Meditation will be offered in December Dates TBA

$45 for the 3 week series, Ease Into Meditation. Please plan to attend all three meetings.

$75 for the 5 week series, Deepen Your Meditation. Please plan to attend all five meetings.

Shavasana

Description:

Find the peace and fullness within, as you rest in Shavasana (yoga’s relaxation pose). You will be led in a guided awareness and a healing breathing practice. No experience needed. Beginners and experienced yogis welcome!
